Description Summary: The Technical Documentation & Graphics Specialist is responsible for owning, developing, and maintaining technical, operational, and marketing-related documentation across the organization. This role serves as the central point of accountability for ensuring company documentation is accurate, current, well-structured, and usable by internal teams and customers. In addition to documentation management, this role supports the graphics team through the creation of visual assets, labeling, and branded materials used throughout the manufacturing facility and on company products. Duties: Own and maintain the company’s library of technical documents, including service manuals, installation guides, technical manuals, and internal work instructions. Review outdated or incomplete documentation and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Service, Quality, and Production teams to update content. Develop and document standardized work instructions and job processes for manufacturing, assembly, service, and support roles. Ensure documentation aligns with current operations, equipment, safety practices, and quality standards. Establish consistent formatting, version control, and document control practices. Maintain existing job descriptions and update them as roles change. Support visual consistency and standards throughout operations and product identification. Support marketing materials including brochures, line cards, product sheets, and promotional content. Update company social media accounts with approved content. Coordinate content of the company newsletter. Ensure accuracy and brand consistency across all external communications. Work cross-functionally to gather, validate, and clarify technical and operational information. Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation. Serve as a documentation resource for internal teams. Create graphics, diagrams, labels, nameplates, and signage for manufacturing and products as needed. Operate design software and printing equipment to produce labels and graphics as needed. Requirements Education and/or experience equivalent to a two-year degree Experience in technical documentation, technical writing, graphic design, or marketing content. Proficiency with documentation and graphic design tools Strong oral and written communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Ability to understand technical information in written form Working knowledge of manufacturing environments and shop-floor operations preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to work both in an office setting and on the production floor Physical capability consistent with a manufacturing environment Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly
