Job Description What will you be doing? ALTEN UK is currently seeking a Technical Documentation Engineer to join one of our leading clients in the space sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-paced environment and contributing to cutting-edge space projects. Your main responsibilities will be: Develop and write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including detailed engineering acceptance reports. Gather, compile, and verify data from multiple internal sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate closely with engineering, test preparation, and quality teams to maintain technical integrity across all reports. Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies or issues within the data collection and reporting processes. Propose and implement workflow improvements to enhance data collection, reporting efficiency, and quality standards. Ensure all deliverables meet customer requirements and internal quality standards. Qualifications Experience, skills and qualifications required: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in data analysis, technical reporting, or documentation within an engineering or high-technology environment. Experience with the engineering V- cycle including verification and validation. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and data management tools Experience in aerospace, defence, or space systems environments is highly desirable. Additional Information Why join us?
