I am currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established Australian manufacturing business supplying leading retailers, distributors and food manufacturers across the country.
This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys managing freight operations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring customer deliveries are completed accurately and on time. The Role
Reporting to the Logistics function, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating daily freight bookings with transport providers across Australia
- Monitoring freight movements, delivery schedules, and ETAs
- Liaising with Warehouse, Production and Planning teams to coordinate dispatch priorities
- Managing delivery issues, delays, damages and freight-related escalations
- Preparing and maintaining dispatch documentation and transport paperwork
- Managing retailer and customer logistics portals, delivery bookings and appointment scheduling
- Coordinating urgent freight requirements and special delivery requests
- Maintaining accurate freight tracking, delivery records and logistics data
- Responding to customer delivery enquiries and providing ETA updates
- Supporting internal stakeholders with logistics information and order tracking
- Managing relationships with transport providers and freight carriers
- Coordinating pallet movements, returns and account reconciliations
- Assisting with freight invoice queries and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies
- Ensuring logistics procedures and delivery requirements are consistently followed
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in logistics, transport, freight coordination or supply chain operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience using ERP systems or customer portals will be highly regarded
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
