To further expand our market leadership in digital business, we are looking for an experienced Technical E-Commerce Manager for our location in Bachenbülach. This role will strategically develop our platform and drive the sustainable growth of our digital customer relationships . You will be responsible for the technical development of our online shop and work at the intersection of e-commerce, IT, and business. Together with internal departments and external development partners, you will ensure that our platform remains stable, efficient, and future-proof. You will analyze requirements, coordinate technical implementations, support troubleshooting, and continuously develop our e-commerce landscape. You will bring not only a strong understanding of digital processes and customer journeys but also the technical expertise to actively shape systems, interfaces, and technical interrelationships.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the webshop as a central sales channel and its continuous development
• Control and prioritization of optimizations along the customer journey
• Improvement of product discovery as well as search, filter and navigation logic
• Further development of the data structure and ensuring high data quality
• Analysis and optimization of data flows and the interaction of relevant systems and interfaces
• Ensuring consistent and harmonized system and data logic across all relevant platforms
• Translation of business requirements into technical requirements and management of implementation (internal/external)
• Shared responsibility for system changes, releases, testing and quality assurance within the framework of IT change and release management
• Analysis and further development of key performance indicators
• Identification and implementation of quick wins and structural improvements

What makes you stand out

• Practical experience with web development and modern web technologies
• Experience or certification in the field of Requirements Engineering (IREB) and/or ITIL (v3 / v4) is a clear plus.
• Several years of experience in e-commerce or platform environments
• Experience with complex system landscapes and their further development
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS
• Ability to understand and professionally assess code and technical implementations
• Strong understanding of data, structures, and user behavior
• Basic technical understanding of data flows, interfaces and system interrelationships
• Ability to independently analyze problems and solve them in a structured manner
• Very good analytical understanding
• Structured, pragmatic and independent work style
• Very good German and English skills
