Description Job Description Statement: Provide technical support for medical imaging equipment through foundational troubleshooting, validation, and preventative maintenance. Ensure equipment performance aligns with OEM standards while supporting safe, accurate, and efficient operations within the engineering facility. Essential Job Duties: Validate imaging parts and components according to OEM documentation and performance standards while supporting staging, calibration, and functional system checks. Perform first-look evaluations, basic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on assigned modalities. Maintain and repair test systems to ensure consistent operational readiness. Document work performed in accordance with internal procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized engineering environment while representing Block Imaging with professionalism and technical accuracy. Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Role Competencies: Build basic validation templates from OEM documentation and support the creation of formal validation procedures. Provide troubleshooting, preliminary diagnosis and foundational technical support to engineers and technicians. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on test systems to ensure reliability. Develop skills toward proficiency in at least one imaging modality while building foundational competency in others. Document work accurately and follow internal processes to support quality and consistency. Salary Range: $50,000-$75,000 Experience and Education Requirements: Preferred Experience 1–3 years in a technical or imaging-related role (or equivalent demonstrated skill). Proficient in at least one imaging modality (or actively progressing toward proficiency). Education (or equivalent experience) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience (preferred). Preferred Certifications OEM or industry certifications in imaging technologies (preferred). Travel Requirements: Occasional driving 10-20%, the position may occasionally require safety sensitive DOT driving duties, Load, transport, deliver parts/equipment. Meet driver eligibility requirements. Minimum age 21, refer to company vehicle policy.
