We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE construction standards, local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, etc.), and a proven ability to manage technical aspects of medium to large-scale construction projects.

Job Role:

• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders for technical issues and design clarifications.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and as-built drawings in compliance with project requirements.
• Support the site execution team with technical guidance and construction methods.
• Liaise with Dubai authorities (DM, DDA, Trakhees, DEWA, RTA, Civil Defence, etc.) for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor compliance with local construction codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical submissions, project progress, and correspondence.
• Participate in project meetings and technical discussions with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience (preferably in Dubai) working with main contractors or engineering consultancies.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, DEWA procedures, and other local authorities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project coordination tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and deadlines under pressure.
