QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

· Strong IT skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Knowledge of data analysis
· Knowledge of M3 programmes and reporting
· Analytic eye, able to sort issues and resolve them or elevate them to the correct platform
· Excellent organisational skills required, time management and availability are critical

PRIMARY ROLE

To support the Technical Manager in the collation and testing of production data, to challenge the status quo of production capabilities and as part of the team propose improvements to the BOM and production process.
This will be achieved by working together, in the best interests of the company, with all other members of the company.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with the collation of technical information for the creation of product BOM’s
· Collate actual production data and analyse against the planned BOMs using time and motion data capture and BI5000 reporting in M3.
· Review the technical data accuracy (drawings and samples) to ensure correct information is available for the sales and production staff.
· Discuss analyses outcomes with Production Managers and Quality Department to understand the variances.
· Produce weekly production reports for the Technical Manager reviewing the planned vs actual production data including reasonings for variances and proposed adjustments with a drive to improve the BOM accuracy whilst reducing the cost of manufacture.
· Cover sales costing calculations for the Technical Manager during holidays, sickness and periods of high demand.
· Support and aid the production team with new products into the production environment ensuring a right first-time approach.
· Liaise closely with the quality team to ensure alignment on product parameters making sure the contract review process is completed.
