Description
Meraki Integrated Contracting is seeking a skilled Technical Engineer with a heavy focus on construction and structural engineering projects. The responsibilities centre on managing project documentation, ensuring compliance, coordinating submittals, and liaising with various stakeholders to maintain project schedules and quality. This position will report to Assistant GM-Technical. Key Responsibilities: • Reviewing & commenting PQD, Material Submittals (with compliance statement) & Shop Drawings (internal & external) • Reviewing & commenting Rebar Shop drawings & BBS • Maintaining Engineering submission logs & rebar call off log, in-compliance with the baseline programme • Preparing Technical packages for sending to Procurement team for Contractor & supplier finalization • Periodical site visit whenever required • Co-ordinating with the Project Consultant, Construction team & Sub Contractors on the Engineering Submissions & follow up Preferred Traits: Eye for detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to adapt to project demands. Minimum 5 to 7 years of UAE experience in Commercial Cum Residential Buildings (Mid/ High rise) in Contracting company as a Sr. Technical Engineer Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Preferably more than 75 % or 7.5 CGPA) Able to handle multiples projects from start to handing over in all Technical aspects without any delay / pending, in compliance with the Quality Standards Why Join Us?
