EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., materials physics, semiconductor physics) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role or in innovation within an industrial setting.
  • PhD in a scientific field (e.g., materials physics, semiconductor physics) is desirable.

TECHNICAL / JOB KNOWLEDGE

  • In-depth knowledge of their area of expertise.
  • Understanding of company products and processes.
  • Proficient in design of experiments and statistical analysis tools.
  • Able to perform structured reporting.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the role.
  • Established professional network in their specialty.
  • Active member of the R&D ecosystem in their field.

PERSONAL CAPABILITIES

  • Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders in their area of expertise.
  • Coordinate the technical aspects of development projects under a project manager’s supervision.
  • Lead cross-functional workgroups.
  • Act as a mentor in their domain.
  • Train teams.
  • Influence company strategy through technical recommendations.
