TECHNICAL ENGINEERING TRAINER – TEMPORARY / 6 MONTH FTC.

Supplier technology plays an important part of new designs so it is anticipated that supplier and purchasing communication will be frequent. Preferred suppliers will be used wherever possible in a manner that ensures high quality products are available using most efficient manufacturing processes. Comparisons with competitor’s products will be expected as projects require.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a technical engineering training or teaching role, either in an educational setting delivering courses or in a manufacturing / production based environment
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
• Hands on experience gained in engineering either a mechanical, electrical or brazing bias.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a positive and proactive approach.

THE ROLE

If so we would be keen to hear from you, due to continued expansion and growth Airedale by Modine is looking for a Technical Engineering Trainer, either on an interim or fixed term contract basis, we would also consider applications that are looking to work part-time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In this role, you’ll be based at both our Leeds and Bradford sites delivering a variety of training courses in Brazing, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering to our production based employees.
• Delivery of high-quality training courses
• On-going training to support all production staff
• Alongside the Training Manager, deliver inductions for all new production and office based employees.
• Help shape Airedale by Modine curriculum content and delivery aligned with industry standards.
• In this role you will support the progressive development of the apprenticeship assessment / training materials.
• Liaise with external training / course providers.
