Astro Pak is seeking a Cleanroom Technical Estimator to prepare accurate, strategic technical bid proposals for high-purity cleaning and passivation services. This role reviews drawings, specifications, and process requirements to determine labor, materials, equipment, and cost structures that align with customer scope and operational execution. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, experience working with technical documentation, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams. This position directly impacts pricing accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role works onsite Monday-Friday at our Titusville, Florida facility. What You’ll Do: Review drawings, specifications, and procedural documentation to develop qualified scopes of work Determine labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and associated project costs Conduct time studies and validate labor and material utilization Prepare accurate and timely technical bid proposals and quotes Apply targeted markups and assess historical pricing trends Conduct bid-versus-actual analysis to improve pricing accuracy Maintain historical cost data and develop bidding metrics for cost justification Collaborate with Sales, leadership, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to align bids with customer needs and operational capabilities Facilitate bid strategy, risk analysis, and post-job review meetings Support development of process work instructions and procedural improvements Ensure bids comply with QMS standards and U.S. Export Control Laws Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience 1–3 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, manufacturing, sales, or cleanroom environments preferred Experience in chemical cleaning, industrial cleaning, waste management, or mechanical contracting/engineering preferred Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate historical data and develop bidding metrics and cost proposal justification Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Microsoft Project experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Business acumen and solid estimation capabilities Ability to effectively collaborate across departments and interact with customers of varying backgrounds and experience levels Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and approach situations with critical thinking and decision-making skills Legal capacity to comply with U.S. Export Control Laws Why Join Us Astro Pak delivers high-purity cleaning solutions for critical industries that demand precision and compliance.
