ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Technical Estimator plays a key role in supporting the team by providing accurate and competitive price estimates for products and services offered by the company. You will work closely with customers, the sales team and the engineering director to understand project requirements and develop detailed cost estimates.
This role involves a combination of office-based work, customer interactions and collaboration with internal teams. The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, attention to detail and strong communication skills to ensure that quotes are both accurate and persuasive.
This role plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of sales operations, contributing to the overall success of the sales team by providing essential support and co-ordination. This is a crucial role in securing new business and driving revenue growth for the division. By providing accurate and competitive price estimates, you contribute to the success of sales initiatives and help build lasting relationships with customers.

DAY TO DAY TASKS:

• All tasks relating to sales estimation following on from receipt of site paperwork documentation including: winning quotes, management of customer requirements relating to won/confirmed sales opportunities, ordering all parts relating to sales, raising PO’s for parts related to sales.
• Raising quotations, inclusive of sales analysis.
• End to end sales pipeline management.
• Communicating with customers and suppliers via telephone and email.
• General admin duties to support across the team where required.
