Description
Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct daily inspections of front-of-house (FOH) areas and back-of-house (BOH) critical systems and essential services to ensure all equipment remains in a state of operational readiness. Respond promptly to system breakdowns and resolve operational issues related to ACMV systems, Electrical systems, Generators, Fire protection systems, Plumbing & Sanitary systems and other building services ensuring minimal disruption to guests, staff, and animal collections. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for defect rectification and maintenance works. Supervise, plan and organise preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability. Maintain accurate asset records for all M&E systems including ACMV, Electrical, Generators, Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Sanitary systems across park facilities and buildings. Monitor utilities consumption (electricity, water, etc.) and establish baseline data to support energy management initiatives across the park. Source, negotiate and follow up with vendors on repair and replacement work and ensure work done according to specifications. Maintain proper inventory control of store items including electrical components, sanitary and plumbing materials, painting supplies, carpentry materials, and hand tools. Ensure safe working conditions by implementing corrective actions to maintain equipment and processes within safe operating limits. Job Requirements: Minimum Diploma or Nitec At least 3 years of relevant working experience with supervisory experience Proficient in written and spoken English Good knowledge on electrical wiring, control diagrams and drawings. Able to troubleshoot electrical faults and system. Basic knowledge in air-conditioning including troubleshooting. Prior plumbing and fire protection knowledge will be an added advantage. Outgoing personality with strong communication and people management skills. Must be comfortable to work night shifts, and roster basis (5 days work week)
