In this position you are a high level know-how owner in electrical engineering and automation for manufacturing and upgrading wood based panels and similar products. You take full ownership of technological process development and optimization in all plants of Swiss Krono Group in majority in the field of electric and automation to ensure that product and process developments are carried out in the best possible way regarding quality and costs in the agreed timeframe. Our offer: Professional onboarding and close collaboration Stable international business environment in a market leading Swiss family owned company Professional and personal development opportunities Relocation package Personal benefits based on location Your tasks: Execute technical support and troubleshooting, process optimization and automation initiatives, developments in the field of electrical engineering, approval tests and roll outs directly at the SK production lines and/or test stands Monitor new developments in the wood based panel industry both from suppliers and competitors side Propose, evaluate and roll out technological relevant initiatives all over the SK Group Document results and findings and distribute conclusions within relevant SK functions in groupwide platforms Accompany technological/process relevant tasks or projects in majority in the field of electric and automation from the development period to the final acceptance Share know-how with the SK sites, process trainings with technicans and maintenance staff Act as part of the center of excellence and knowledge sharing platform Keep yourself updated regarding relevant technical standards (Normen), legal regulations and guidelines Your profile: Bachelor/Master/ or similar degree in electrical / automation engineeering Minimum 10 years of technical work experience in the field of electric and automation of industry plants In-depth knowledge of wood process and upgrading industry as an additional asset Experts knowledge in electrical engineering and automation of wood/fiber preparation and press lines and/or upgrading lines or similar Specialist in field automation, control systems, process visualisation, power supply systems in various voltage levels, Industry 4.0 applications General programming skills and trouble shooting competence for the listed systems below: Significant knowledge PLC systems: Siemens Simatic S7- 300/400, S7- 15xx (TIA) and others, AB Rockwell Automation GuardLogix Significant knowledge HMI/Scada Systems: Siemens WIN CC and WIN CC unified, AB Rockwell Automation Factory Talk Design Studio, INOSOFT VisiWin Significant knowledge OT Network systems: Siemens Profibus, ProfiNet, IO-Control, Hardware Components as e.g. Scalance switches, AB Rockwell Automation IO-Link system, EtherNet, Hardeware Components as e.g. Stratix switches Significant knowledge of Drive Systems: Siemens SINAMICS Gxxx serie, SimoDrive Simotion CU 320 etc., SEW Eurodrive MDX, Movimot, Lenze Inverter e.g. 8400 Line, AB Rockwell Automation SMC Controll Main employment abroad in all SK facilities worldwide about >50% Office in Menznau/Switzerland for periods of non employment abroad Availability for short and long time business trips world wide German or English (B2 or higher), other European languages are a plus We look forward to hearing from you!
