YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree with focus on embedded systems, communications engineering or similar
  • Solid experience in the development of electronic control units functions especially in the Log&Trace context
  • Familiarity with tracing tools like DLT
  • Security expertise (Cryptographie, PKI, Authentication)
  • Linux know-how is a plus (Yocto Project, systemd, performance/stability optimizations, etc.)
  • Independent, proactive and systematic approach to working
  • Very good team and communication skills
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the development process for system functions of telematic control units (TCU) with focus on Log&Trace over the whole product life cycle
  • Responsibility for domain specific feature planning, architecture definition, requirements/change management, test management and defect management
  • Managing the test and validation program, performing defect analysis, prioritization, reporting and escalation to ensure functionality and quality in time
  • Support in problem solving and debugging for target guidence to achive maturity grades, system stability and performance
  • Alignment of the requirements and implementation concepts with all stakeholders with the car manufacturer as well as the tier 1 supplier developing the TCU
  • Solving technical problems with suppliers/architects/SW developers
  • Lead development project meetings and reporting for domain.
