SORA is a Canadian clothing brand based in Toronto! We specialize in creating anime-inspired streetwear for the endless and loving community.
We are seeking a talented, professional to take our entry position of Technical Fashion Designer Assistant to learn and bring value to our team. This person will play an instrumental role in developing tech specifications for the new product designs and assisting the Creative Director. Working closely with the design team, the Assistant Designer will partner on a continuous basis to enhance premium product and the consumer experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven proficient knowledge of apparel product construction. Must love anime*

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• 2+ years applicable working Design experience within an Apparel Design role
• Photoshop & Illustrator
• Clo3d*
• Knowledge of silhouettes, fabrications, construction techniques, fit and trim
• Proficient knowledge of apparel product construction
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year

Work Location: In perso

• Work with the Creative Director to observe and own seasonal calendar, as it relates to the company calendar
• Create and present initial design specifications for apparel and accessories
• Create technical packs and update as required for all styles determined
• Support the colour process in coordinating the lab dip process for all new and existing materials
• Work cross functionally with team members in aligning on style and construction goals.
