For the past 25 years CyberGuru has been helping small to medium-sized businesses and not-for-profit organisations across Brisbane and surrounding areas, with a focus on IT strategy, managed services and cybersecurity.
We are looking for an experienced level 2/3 technician to join our team and be support our managed services and ad-hoc clients. The role will involve working with a variety of technologies and clients , with the location being a mixture of office and remote work as well as some onsite visits to clients.
The right candidate will have the ability to negotiate working hours, work from home arrangements and a professional development plan. Occasional after hours work may be required.
You will have the following knowledge and skills:
· A minimum 5 years’ experience in providing level 2/3 IT support in a business to business setting
· Either a Certificate III or above in an IT-related field or Bachelor’s degree, CompTIA and/or Microsoft Certified Professional qualifications or equivalent experience
· Experience in Windows desktop and server operating systems including Windows 10 and 11 support, management and administration
· Experience in Microsoft 365 and Office 365 support, management and administration
· A commitment to ongoing professional development
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Strong organisational and communication (verbal and written) skills
· Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve, research and identify solutions, and critically review information
· A commitment to excellence/professionalism and identify areas of improvement
· Working with Children Blue Card, or the ability to gain a one
· Full Australian Driver’s Licence and unrestricted access to own vehicle
· Experience in automation utilising business operating systems
· Experience in domain name system (DNS), website hosting (WHM/cPanel), website development (WordPress predominantly), networking, cloud computing and onsite and cloud backups
· Experience in Microsoft Azure
· Experience with Mac operating systems
· Good working knowledge of SMB1001
