EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in technical infrastructure architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or Federal Oracle shared service providers on Oracle Database Architecture 19c platforms or higher.
  • Proven ability to plan, design, and manage large-scale, secure infrastructure systems supporting mission-critical operations.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, system benchmarking, and technical architecture design in high-availability environments.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee all technical planning and infrastructure-related tasks across hardware, software, and network environments to ensure overall operational readiness, availability, and integrity of systems.
  • Provide comprehensive infrastructure oversight including performance, scalability, dependability, disaster recovery, and security planning for DoD Oracle shared service platforms.
  • Conduct hardware sizing, performance assessments, upgradeability reviews, and benchmarking activities, delivering expert recommendations to support the STORES technical architecture and any required expansion.
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance processes across production, Continuity of Operations (COOP), and Test & Development (T&D) environments for the STORES application.
  • Deliver Oracle-based disaster recovery planning, performance testing, and reporting to ensure system reliability and compliance with evolving federal requirements.
  • Support agile adoption of new technologies and provide forward-leaning recommendations for modernization and optimization.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring clear communication with government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the infrastructure aligns with both enterprise architecture standards and mission-critical needs.
