POSITION OVERVIEW

TechBridge is seeking dynamic Technical Instructors to lead classrooms of 25-30 adult learners. Instructors will have the support of teaching assistants and student success coaches to ensure a high-quality learning experience. Classes are Monday through Thursday, 5:00-9:00 p.m with virtual and in-person options. Contract rates are commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to adult learners, utilizing the latest technology and teaching methods.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Education, Learning, and Development (ELD) team, teaching assistants, and student success coaches through weekly meetings.
  • Student Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to set and achieve meaningful student goals. Utilize student data to drive instruction.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that inspire students to connect learning to the real world workplace
  • Learner Support: Monitor student progress, differentiate instruction as needed, and provide coaching to foster student success.
  • Community Building: Create a safe and supportive learning environment, incorporating interactive activities and facilitating discussions.
  • Office Hours: Maintain regular office hours to support students outside of class time.
  • Adherence to Standards: Follow the “TechBridge Way” and align with TechBridge’s mission and procedures.
  • Reporting: Report to the Manager of Training and Instruction to ensure alignment with educational goals.
