AS A PASSIONATE, MOTIVATED AND CLIENT-FOCUSED TECHNICAL LEAD YOU WILL BE ACROSS:

  • Strategic Technical Direction: Provide expert guidance across the account, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and evolving cloud technologies.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Conduct thorough technical reviews of proposals to ensure feasibility, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Capacity Management: Monitor infrastructure capacity and contribute to proactive planning and optimization efforts.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks to ensure stable and secure service delivery.
  • Solution Advisory: Offer informed recommendations to Solution Architects and Sales teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive internal process improvements and leverage technology to enhance service delivery and operational performance.
  • Architecture Ownership: Maintain and evolve the architecture map, ensuring it reflects current and future-state designs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a key SME in Problem Management and Major Incident processes, providing technical leadership and resolution strategies.
  • Change Management: Review and validate the technical aspects of project changes to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Technical Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive technical dashboard/catalogue to support visibility and governance.
  • Governance Participation: Attend Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to provide technical input and oversight.
  • Incident Prevention: Conduct Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs) with a focus on actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Best Practice Development: Define, review, and promote technical best practices across teams and projects.
  • Continual Service Improvement (CSI): Utilize AWS-native tools to identify opportunities for financial optimization (FinOps), performance tuning, and operational efficiency, feeding insights into CSI initiatives and service reviews.
  • Cloud Governance: Participate in Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) meetings, offering strategic direction across AWS workloads and environments.
  • Support Transition Oversight: Ensure smooth handover from project delivery to business-as-usual (BAU) operations through validation of documentation, support readiness, and operational alignment.
  • Audit & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure—both cloud and on-premises—meets internal policies and external regulatory standards through robust access controls, logging, and configuration compliance.
