CGI is actively seeking an experienced Technical Lead who thrives in dynamic environments, proactively takes initiative, and consistently delivers high-quality results with minimal supervision. You will provide technical expertise and strategic leadership across technology architecture, application design, development, and infrastructure support, ensuring robust and error-free delivery of critical systems.

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quickly master and manage existing technologies, including .NET Framework, and Azure.
  • Provide decisive technical guidance and hands-on leadership to Tier III application project teams, Tier II support teams, and Tier I infrastructure teams, driving successful delivery of financial services applications.
  • Champion ITIL and SDLC best practices, expertly managing incident, problem, and change processes to enhance operational stability.
  • Lead incident resolution with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ensuring thorough root cause analysis, effective remediation, and insightful post-incident reviews.
  • Guide and oversee comprehensive change planning and management.
  • Identify and advocate for opportunities to enhance technical processes and infrastructure, promoting continuous improvement within the team and organization.
  • Regularly document technical environments and support procedures clearly for varied audiences, enhancing knowledge sharing and operational transparency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Technical:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a Technical Lead role.
  • Proven ability to quickly master new technologies through active, hands-on involvement.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies (preferably Azure).
  • Proficiency in designing, deploying, and supporting complex, multi-tiered technology environments with high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Extensive experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and modern front-end technologies such as Blazor.
  • Strong SQL proficiency.
  • Familiarity with load balancing, clustering, and virtualization.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including networking and storage.
  • ITIL Certification is a nice to have and a comprehensive grasp of SDLC methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management solutions and OIDC implementation

General:

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong experience working effectively within complex matrixed organizational structures.
  • Proven leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to motivate teams and facilitate productive technical discussions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Client-focused mindset with excellent professional business acumen.
