Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible to lead the design and implement a unified enterprise pipeline framework leveraging Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or other relevant tools.
  • Build a scalable Jenkins platform that can handle multiple concurrent jobs and service all IT teams.
  • Assess emerging CI/CD technologies, recommend improvements, and drive tool adoption across teams.
  • Lead a team of developers and devops engineers to build a robust Jenkins platform
  • Define deliverables and timelines and be responsible for ensuring these are met on time.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, align on strategy, and champion DevOps culture.
  • Pipeline administration and ensure all teams utilise Infrastructure as Code to effect change and that the environment features the required controls and audit components to validate resource compliance
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation and collaboration
  • Define and implement all operational components required to proactively monitor and manage the production environment, identify operational issues and maintain efficient operations
  • Lead team through all service disruptions to ensure services are restored; drive root cause analysis and remediation initiatives post any service disruption
  • Define and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards across the pipeline ecosystem.
  • Identify bottlenecks, propose optimizations, and push for end-to-end automation in the deployment process
