MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Health Information Technology, or related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Experience working with SAAS applications.
  • Strong technical background with healthcare information systems.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with developing reports using report writing tools and data visualization products.
  • Experience with configuration and administration of electronic health record systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with CareLogic EHR system configuration and administration.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health clinical workflows and documentation requirements.
  • Experience with new feature implementation.
  • Experience with clinical reporting tools for operational and state, federal, and private grant requirements.
  • Experience in supporting a behavioral health organization.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations as they pertain to EHR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with product management teams.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert on CareLogic EHR system, supporting the Product Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager, Revenue Cycle Manager and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations.
  • Work with the Product Manager to implement system changes that align with clinical needs.
  • Provide technical guidance, hands-on support, and implementation leadership for EHR projects.
  • Lead technical assessments, testing, and fixes.
  • Collaborate with IT, Product Support Team, and CareLogic vendors on technical problems, integrations, enhancements, and optimizations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and issue correction by following the EHR Change Management Process.
  • Create and maintain clinical and financial reports for CITC operations and state, federal, and private grant requirements.
  • Assist the product support team with EHR-related billing processes and troubleshooting.
  • Complete change requests and small to medium technical projects.
  • Responsible for System Administration to ensure system readiness and resolve issues as needed.
  • Manage user access, role configuration, permissions and system settings.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy standards, and healthcare regulations (HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2).
  • Document system configurations and technical processes.
  • Stay updated on trends in behavioral health EHR technology.
  • Provide backup system administration support for 3rd party integrations.
  • Participate in user group meetings/conferences as the technical representative.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Employee may access protected health information and other patient information only to the extent necessary to complete job duties. Employee may only share such information on a need to know basis with others who have job responsibilities related to treatment, payment, or other clinic operations.
  • Employee is encouraged and expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding the clinic’s policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to the designated Privacy Officer.
