JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technical Lead andndash; Frontend Developer (React.js) will work from Romania (Bucharest / Clujandnbsp;offices) while collaborating with the Global MassMutual teams and provide support in theandnbsp;
Investment space. The person who will join this role will report to a local manager.andnbsp;
Responsibilitiesandnbsp;
andbull; Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable JavaScript applications, using React or other JS frameworks and libraries for IDS space
andbull; Participate/conduct estimation of effort or sizing of work
andbull; Work with business stakeholders and product owners
andbull; Work and coordinate work with a global team to deliver first class solutions
andbull; Help improve the overall user experience, making sure our solutions meet the businessandnbsp;requirements
andbull; Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to solve emergent challenges
andbull; Participate in the full software development lifecycle
andbull; Engage with team members and be an active contributor in standups, user story mapping,andnbsp;backlog grooming, demos, retros, etc.andnbsp;
andbull; Analyze, develop specifications for, and deliver enhancements; debug, solveandnbsp;issues/problems and maintain complex applications or system(s)andnbsp;
andbull; Conduct technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support for productionandnbsp;codeandnbsp;
andbull; Be self-supportive in collaborating with your peers to effectively deliver robust solutionsandnbsp;for the business
andbull; Work seamlessly in an agile environment with engineers, product managers, businessandnbsp;analysts, and designers to understand end-user requirements
Requirements
andbull;andnbsp;Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript development with a focus on technical leadershipandnbsp;
andbull;andnbsp;Experience with JavaScript, React.js (or Angular is nice to have)andnbsp;
andbull;andnbsp;Good understanding of various design and architectural patterns including Service-Oriented Architecture/microservicesandnbsp;
andbull; Experience gathering technical requirements and help other team members understand requirements/solution
andbull; Work with architects/leaders as needed to solution the problem
andbull; Able to integrate different systems/APIs/services to provide technical solution
andbull; Experience using a DevOps delivery modelandnbsp;
andbull; Experience and understanding of tools including containers, CI/CD - GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, etc. and emerging technologiesandnbsp;
andbull; Experience with any Cloud products/tools (AWS/Azure/Google)andnbsp;
andbull;andnbsp;Good experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
andbull;andnbsp;Experience creating and maintaining technical design documentationandnbsp;
andbull; Must be self-aware and resilientandnbsp;
andbull;andnbsp;Nice to have: Investment of financial services domain knowledge andnbsp
