On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Technical Lead – Infrastructure Operations for a 1-year contract role.

TECHNICAL LEAD – INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a self-motivated and technically savvy Technical Lead to oversee the planning, management, and performance of server, storage, and network infrastructure services. The project involves ensuring infrastructure availability, scalability, and security across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments to support mission-critical systems and modernization initiatives.

TECHNICAL LEAD – INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing enterprise infrastructure in complex environments.
• Industry certifications: Microsoft, VMware, Cisco CCNA and CCIE, Fortinet NSE.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, network virtualization, and hybrid architectures.
• Virtualization expertise: VMware vSphere.
• Network Security: Firewalls, VPNs, NAC, IDS/IPS.
• Leadership & Collaboration skills.

TECHNICAL LEAD – INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience in aviation, government, or financial services sectors.
• Familiarity with automation tools like PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform.
• Knowledge of SDN and Cisco ACI.
• Experience with wireless technologies and airport mobility solutions.
• Unified Communications expertise: VoIP, SIP.

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of server, storage, and network professionals.
• Develop and execute an integrated infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Manage the lifecycle and performance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Enforce best practices for infrastructure and network security.
• Manage vendor and MSP relationships to ensure SLA compliance.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, infrastructure policies, and technical standards.
