You will translate business requirements into robust, future-proof architectural decisions, thus creating the foundation for a consistent IT strategy. The design, evaluation, and further development of application and service architectures – in both cloud and hybrid environments – are among your core tasks. Throughout this role, you will always keep aspects such as IT security, cost-effectiveness, and integrability in mind. You will actively support the introduction and integration of a modern ERP platform based on SAP S/4HANA – particularly in the areas of Utilities/IS-U and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) – and make a significant contribution to the successful implementation of ongoing projects. As the guardian of the IT architecture, you will ensure that integration patterns are consistent and maintainable. You will identify overarching dependencies between project streams and proactively address architectural inconsistencies. You will develop reference architectures, support proof-of-concept projects, and ensure the smooth transition of new solutions into live operations. Furthermore, you will assume responsibility in projects – whether as a sub-project manager or as a technical lead
