Key Responsibilities

• Deliver production-grade features across the stack, with a strong focus on backend development
• Lead code reviews and establish best practices across the engineering function
• Contribute to architecture and system design discussions
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
• Drive adoption of modern AI-assisted development practices and tooling
• Mentor junior engineers and help elevate technical standards
• Own projects end-to-end from design through deployment and optimisation Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Staff Engineer or Technical Lead
• Strong backend engineering expertise, ideally within Python-based environments
• Excellent Computer Science fundamentals including software design, algorithms and data structures
• Experience designing and building scalable production systems
• Strong code review and technical leadership capability
• Comfortable influencing technical direction and challenging ideas constructively
• Experience working in high-performing engineering environments
• Passion for leveraging AI tools to improve software development productivity and quality
