We are seeking a talented Information Technology professional to join the Personal Risk Services (PRS) in an engineering position. As a Software Engineer, you will be contributing to the development of robust and scalable web applications, utilizing your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance the overall user experience for our business and agency partners. Role Overview * We are seeking a self-driven, highly skilled Senior Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in software development. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in .NET Core, experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure), and Kubernetes. Exposure to Angular is a plus. This is an individual contributor role, requiring effective defect triaging skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities * Support and maintain modern front-end applications built on the latest versions of Angular, with demonstrated experience and expertise in Typescript/NodeJS * Support and maintain C#, .net core based microservice and API assets Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective application development. * Troubleshooting and debugging web applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality. Qualifications * 4 to 6 years of experience as hands-on full stack software engineer * Experience in development of REST based APIs using Open API specification and/or creating specifications w/swagger * Leverage Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.) for cloud-native solutions. * Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework Core) * Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications using Kubernetes. * Integrate front-end components (Angular) with back-end services (if applicable). * Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. * Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. * Operate as an individual contributor, taking ownership of assigned modules and tasks. * Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Curious around AI and its ability to create business value * Perform complex troubleshooting of critical problem tickets, resolving defects in existing production software and provide root-cause analysis * Understanding of how to secure webapps and APIs using OpenID/OAuth2.0 standards * Excellent written/verbal skills and demonstrated ability to meet commitments under pressure. * Hands-on experience with Java a plus * Experience with Angular (latest versions preferred) for front-end development.
