Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – PeopleSoft to drive the technical architecture, design, and development of enterprise PeopleSoft HCM solutions. This role will lead technical teams in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions, with a strong focus on integrations, system optimization, and adherence to best practices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PeopleSoft technologies and hands-on experience supporting Time & Labor and Absence Management modules. Responsibilities The Technical Lead will oversee all technical aspects of the project, including: Designing and implementing system architecture, integrations, and technical solutions within the PeopleSoft ecosystem Developing, reviewing, and optimizing configurations, customizations, and integrations Ensuring adherence to PeopleSoft development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines Managing environment strategy, including migrations, releases, and version control across development, test, and production environments Leading technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect resolution efforts Collaborating with functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions Supporting and guiding development teams through code reviews and technical mentorship Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications and integration documentation Providing knowledge transfer to internal teams and stakeholders Education and Experience Minimum of seven (7) years of PeopleSoft technical experience Bachelors degree required Required Skills Strong expertise in: PeopleTools Application Engine SQR (Structured Query Reporting) PeopleCode Integration Broker Demonstrated experience configuring and customizing Time & Labor and Absence Management modules Experience developing and supporting integrations with payroll and HR systems Proven experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) images Familiarity with Oracle database technologies, including performance tuning and query optimization Desired Skills Experience in government or legislative environments Familiarity with Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models Experience with cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environments (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Knowledge of DevOps practices and automated deployment tools within PeopleSoft environments Security Clearance US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance More About B&A: Notable Clients B&A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
