Job OverviewResponsibilities:

• Providing full line management and technical mentorship for a team of software engineers, overseeing the delivery of complex workflow and document management applications within Propylon’s Government Solutions division
• Responsible for the overall quality of the team’s technical deliveries in terms of test coverage, code quality, adherence to best practices in relation to security, etc.
• Plan and oversee the execution of development sprints ensuring accurate effort estimation and high-quality delivery of agreed upon sprint outputs.
• Travel internationally to client sites as required to lead technical discovery phases, deliver high-impact product demonstrations, and oversee onsite deployment milestones.
• Collaborating with government stakeholders and external partners to understand project requirements and define technical solutions.
• Act as the technical face of Propylon during project discovery, status updates, and client meetings
• Confidently present architectural design decisions and product demonstrations to diverse, large audiences, including government stakeholders, committees, and executive leadership.
• Production of technical analysis of existing complex, multi-component systems and architectural designs integrating these systems with Propylon applications.
• Work with Government Solutions team’s management to ensure that designs are technically robust and aligned with company strategic direction.
• Work with a cross-functional team, including project managers, business analysts and other stakeholders to provide accurate estimates of development efforts.
• Be the team’s technical authority, providing guidance and direction to junior developers through pair-programming and code-review sessions, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide one-to-one support and mentorship for individual team members to upskill and progress their own engineering careers.
