The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading software development projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed, and driving innovation within the team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable software applications using React front end. Mentor and guide a team of developers, providing technical leadership and support to ensure best practices are followed. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and provide innovative solutions. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process. Drive the adoption of Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience (10+ years) working as a Lead Software Developer with a focus on React front end development. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles and software development best practices. Strong experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript libraries. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Desirable Skills: Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical domain industry is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and others relevant to application deployment and maintenance is desirable. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
