Description

The Technical Lead is responsible for defining the overall technical architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of StoreOps systems. This role drives technical strategy, architectural decisions, engineering standards, and cross-system integration design. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design Design end-to-end system architecture for StoreOps platforms (POS, inventory, supply chain, store reporting). Define microservices, event-driven, or monolithic architectures as appropriate. Design high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems. Create API standards, integration patterns, and data flow architecture. Establish cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure patterns. Technical Leadership Provide technical direction to backend and frontend engineers. Conduct architecture reviews and design approvals. Define coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices. Drive performance optimization and system hardening. Integration & Enterprise Alignment Lead integrations with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, payment gateways, WMS, and third-party vendors. Define security models (RBAC, authentication, encryption, compliance). Ensure alignment with enterprise IT standards and governance. Quality & Risk Management Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies. Ensure observability (logging, monitoring, tracing). Drive disaster recovery and business continuity planning. 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ years in architecture or tech lead role. Strong experience in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture. Expertise in REST APIs, event-driven systems, message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ). Database design (SQL/NoSQL) and performance tuning. Experience in retail/store systems is highly preferred. Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
