JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead with expertise in microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and SonarQube. This role requires a strong foundation in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement microservices architecture using open-source Java technology in an agile software development environment.
• Design and build complex software systems on a virtualized cloud environment, such as Amazon AWS, to meet project requirements.
• Develop and deploy microservices in cloud environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube, and JMeter to streamline deployment and testing processes.
• Deliver high-quality agile software solutions, leveraging best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Adaptable Software Design.

Skills Required:

• Candidate must be willing to obtain Public Trust Clearance
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in agile software development to include Microservices architecture using open source Java technology.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with designing and developing complex software systems on a virtualized cloud environment such as Amazon AWS.
• Formal training such as a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience developing and deploying microservices in a cloud environment preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in DevOps and CI/CD concept using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing tools such SonarQube, JMeter.
• Demonstrated experience delivering agile software solutions using best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Adaptable Software Design.
