What’s the Role: As A Technical Lead you will work closely with the development team to provide high‑level design and technical leadership aligned to business requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, partners, and vendors, demonstrating strong knowledge of application technologies, system environments, and recognised architectural standards. This role is based in Sydney only and will require the candidate to attend the office 3 days a week.  Key Responsibilities: * Translate business requirements into effective IT solution concepts and designs  * Contribute to solution architecture and end‑to‑end implementation planning  * Provide input to high‑level IT, data, and business solution design documents  * Support production issues through data analysis and root‑cause investigation  * Provide third‑line application support, including vendor platforms (e.g. NetReveal, Quantexa, Fenergo)  * Review and validate complex changes to ensure ongoing system stability, sustainability, and cost effectiveness What do I need? * Strong data analysis, solution design and data ingration experience on medium to large‑scale enterprise projects  * Advanced data analysis skills using SQL, with working knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem and Spark  * Experience with systems and data integration, ideally within the technology or banking / financial services sector  * Development and deployment experience across multiple platforms and delivery methodologies   * Desirable knowledge of financial crime systems (e.g. NetReveal, Quantexa, Fenergo) or exposure to AML / CTF / Sanctions domains (desirable)  * Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and consultative skills, with excellent written and verbal communication Why join us?
