Overall Objectives of Job Position Summary The Application Developer within the Reporting & Analytics team plays a key role in delivering high-quality data and reporting solutions. Based in the Delivery Hub in India, the role involves designing and implementing technical solutions while collaborating closely with international teams and stakeholders to meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Architect technical solutions and drive implementation across reporting platforms Collaborate with product owners and team members to understand and refine business requirements Take full ownership and accountability for the development, testing, and deployment of reporting features Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to move and transform data reliably. Develop and optimize data models for analytics use cases. Implement data quality checks, testing, observability, and lineage to ensure accuracy and trust. Optimize data infrastructure for performance and cost in cloud environments. Key requirements / skills / experience: 2–3 years of experience in data engineer, preferably in a data and reporting context Strong technical skills in data engineering and transformations Hands-on experience with Python, SQL and Py-spark Familiarity with Databricks, MS synapse and Power BI tools Familiarity with engineering best practices such as TDD and CI/CD Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working across global teams International exposure or working experience with geographically distributed teams Ability to work between east to west coast US and European time zones English business-level proficiency required Future Challenges Adapting to evolving data architecture and reporting technologies in a fast-paced delivery environment Ensuring seamless coordination and communication across global teams to meet aggressive delivery timelines Driving innovation in reporting automation and engineering practices Enhancing system scalability and performance while maintaining data quality and integrity
