JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to lead our workshop operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of luxury and continental vehicles, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee a team of technicians while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a senior technical or workshop supervisory role, preferably with luxury or continental car brands.
  • Strong diagnostic and technical skills with a proven track record in high-end vehicle servicing.
  • Proficiency with modern automotive diagnostic equipment and software (e.g., Autologic, STAR, ISTA, VCDS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of professionalism.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of mechanics, ensuring productivity, quality, and morale.
  • Assign repair and diagnostic jobs based on mechanics’ skill levels and job complexity.
  • Ensure adherence to workshop SOPs & safety regulations.
  • Oversee and support advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of luxury vehicles.
  • Provide expert guidance and second opinions on complex technical issues.
  • Ensure all services and repairs are completed to manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Coordinate workflow to optimize efficiency and turnaround time.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and workshop equipment.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase service quality and reduce rework.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate job quotations and timelines.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Handle escalating customer concerns related to technical work.
  • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for workshop staff.
  • Stay updated on the latest diagnostic tools, automotive technologies, and best practices.
