EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Building Surveying.
  • 5+ years of experience in facade remediation, ideally for high-rise residential or commercial projects.
  • Expertise in UK facade legislation, building regulations, and risk management.
  • Proven track record of delivering façade replacement schemes
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate regulatory challenges.
Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Technical Manager to lead legacy facade replacement schemes, oversee regional legacy development projects and support the wider Technical Team. This is a pivotal role for a highly skilled professional with expertise in facade remediation, UK building regulations, and high-rise project management.

  • Lead technical delivery of facade remediation projects, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and the Building Safety Act 2022.
  • Oversee design, specification, and execution of facade projects, prioritising fire safety, thermal performance, and structural integrity.
  • Manage budgets of £10M+, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple developments.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including EWS1 certification, Fire Safety Act 2021, and Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including residents, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Act as a technical authority in public consultations, resident meetings, and leadership briefings.
