REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive Experience: Minimum of 10 years in information technology, with hands-on experience at a Senior Software Engineer level or equivalent.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in architecting products and managing technical development teams. Strong background in C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and RDBMS.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, with experience managing products in production.
  • AI Proficiency: Experience with and ability to successfully utilize AI coding assistants to enhance productivity and code quality.
  • Continuous Learner: Eagerness to learn, recommend, and implement new technologies to enhance our products.
  • Effective Communicator: Strong ability to articulate and facilitate technical, business, and analytical discussions across disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Architect and Innovate: Provide technical direction and leadership for the architecture of our web-based software products, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Drive Excellence: Oversee the development of .NET and Angular-based web applications, enforcing best practices in design, implementation, and testing.
  • Agile Leadership: Participate in all aspects of the SDLC using agile methodologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Quality Assurance: Review unit test plans, perform code reviews, and participate in functional and technical reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Project Management: Provide guidance to the Project Management group for decomposing work, creating schedules, and providing accurate estimations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Technical Mentorship: Mentor software engineers on development processes and engineering practices, helping them grow and succeed.
