WHAT WE DO:

  • Expand research capabilities in renewables, battery metals, transition commodities, and new energy sectors like hydrogen.
  • Analyse individual projects such as solar farms, mines, and infrastructure operations to deliver economic and planning insights.
  • Build industry and plant engineering models and catalog carbon emission data using technical papers, production data, financial metrics, surveys, and site visits.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional engineering or technical role experience.
  • Background experience as a company analyst, equity researcher or consultant
  • Must have experience in the commodities industry

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science field

SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of commodities markets, mining and energy sectors
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients and internal teams
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills to address technical and analytical challenges
  • Ability to translate complex data and methodologies into clear, actionable insights for clients.

    Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a chemical, environmental or renewable energy engineer with strong research and communication skills. This role will be a mix of client facing and technical.
At AME, you’ll develop your technical skills and gain a deep understanding of large-scale, complex projects while working with international partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a deep understanding of AME’s research methodology, data models and analytical tools.
  • Assist clients with technical questions related to AME’s platform, datasets and methodology.
  • Guide clients in understanding AME’s commodity data, analytics and economic intelligence.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by proactively addressing queries
