Job Title: Technical Manager Location: Abu Dhabi Department: Operations - Technical Division Reports to: Operations Director - Construction Job Purpose To lead and manage technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, compliance with regulations, and successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget. Roles and Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule. • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment. Technical Oversight • Provide technical expertise throughout the construction process. • Ensure adherence to industry standards, building codes, and applicable regulations. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues. Financial & Contract Management • Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures. • Review financial reports and ensure costs stay within budget. • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other parties. Quality & Safety Assurance • Develop and maintain a quality control program. • Conduct inspections and audits to maintain construction quality standards. • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements. Team & Stakeholder Management • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team. • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment. • Facilitate clear and regular communication with team members and stakeholders. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement • Identify and address challenges promptly with effective solutions. • Evaluate project outcomes to implement improvements for future projects. Information Security Responsibilities • Comply with internal Information Security Policies. • Protect access credentials, and handle company information with confidentiality. • Report any security incidents and maintain cybersecurity hygiene.
