Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager – Construction to oversee and manage the technical aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that designs are feasible, compliant, and executable while coordinating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective construction solutions on time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other construction design and project management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all technical aspects of construction projects from design through execution.
  • Review and validate engineering designs, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Provide guidance to site teams on construction methods, sequencing, and detailing.
  • Ensure quality control by implementing and monitoring technical standards and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify mitigation strategies for technical challenges.
  • Manage value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising quality or safety.
  • Monitor compliance with construction regulations, safety standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in procurement by evaluating technical aspects of tenders and materials.
