At Flowtec, we are partnering with an established international contractor specialising in building envelope solutions for major construction projects across Europe.

As part of their continued growth within the Data Centre and Mission Critical sector, we are looking for a Technical Manager to oversee the technical delivery of roofing, cladding, façade, curtain walling and external envelope packages.

The Opportunity

The initial assignment will be on a major hyperscale Data Centre project in Frankfurt, working on site alongside international Project Management, Construction, Design, Pre-Construction and Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of roofing, cladding, façade and building envelope packages.
• Review designs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation, ensuring they are properly coordinated before and throughout construction.
• Ensure design solutions comply with project specifications, client requirements, technical standards and applicable regulations.
• Work closely with Design, Pre-Construction, Commercial, Project Delivery and Site Management teams.
• Provide technical support during construction, identifying and resolving issues on site.
• Coordinate interfaces between design, manufacturing, installation and other construction packages.
• Identify technical risks and support continuous improvement across processes, methods and standards.
• Ensure installation works are delivered in line with approved designs and required quality standards.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals with a strong background in building envelope, roofing, cladding, façades and/or curtain walling, ideally gained on large-scale construction projects.

Previous experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Advanced Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Industrial Facilities or other complex construction environments would be highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be confident reviewing and coordinating technical documentation, managing interfaces between different disciplines and working directly with design and construction teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
