In this role you will be joining our Video team. Conditional access remains key to what we do; from managing new technology implementations, combating online piracy, offering anti-cheat methods for gaming to supporting customers’ demand for high-quality multi-screen experiences Irdeto deliver to a global customer base.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience leading and managing technical teams in investigations and intelligence gathering/analysis, ideally in anti-piracy, cybersecurity, or digital forensics.
• Hands-on experience conducting technical investigations into IPTV operations, illicit streaming apps/devices, or online piracy infrastructure.
• Significant service delivery management experience, preferably within the video entertainment, video gaming, or IoT-connected industries.
• Excellent written and verbal and communication skills, with the ability to document and communicate technical concepts to a sometimes non-technical audience.
• High level organisational and resource management skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Capable of participating in, and driving, customer meetings and presentations.
• Innovative thinker/problem solver with strong critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to present information in a clear, succinct, and compelling way.
• A quick learner with a natural ability to absorb technical information and legal concepts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; cybersecurity, legal, or computer science disciplines preferred.

PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION:

As a Technical Anti-Piracy Manager – Cyber Intelligence & Investigations, you will lead a globally distributed team of cyber intelligence analysts and investigators delivering managed cyber services to protect high-profile customers in the video entertainment, video gaming, connected transport, and IoT industries.
This customer-facing role is responsible for coordinating with direct reports and relevant Irdeto teams to ensure services are delivered professionally, on time, and in accordance with SLA targets and contractual requirements.
You will manage technical anti-piracy operations and analysts, focusing on evidence collection and monitoring for IP and DNS blocking programs. A strong technical background and experience leading teams in digital investigations are essential. Experience in video anti-piracy is required; familiarity with gaming or IoT sectors and up-to-date knowledge of piracy and cybercrime trends are highly advantageous.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage a technical anti-piracy team to deliver all aspects of the service to a high standard, ensuring SLA targets and contractual requirements are met or exceeded.
• Oversee and conduct technical investigations into illicit streaming platforms, apps, and piracy devices, ensuring robust evidence collection for enforcement actions such as IP and DNS blocking.
• Effectively communicating with clients, including senior stakeholders, both in coordinating ongoing operations and answering any questions or concerns. Lead or attend customer meetings, video and phone conference calls.
• Generating and presenting reporting data to the client, including tailoring such reporting to the needs and interests of the client.
• Work with the Product Marketing, Sales and Engineering Teams internally to coordinate and develop processes to meet the requirements of the client and to improve existing processes.
• Liaising with the Irdeto Sales, Product Marketing, Legal and Engineering teams to ensure that requests or opportunities for new service offerings (including RFP’S, RFQ’s and RFI’s), or expansions to existing services, are processed and presented accordingly.
• Communicating with third parties (e.g. investigation agents, technology vendors, social media and ecommerce platform representatives, etc.) on behalf of Irdeto and our clients. Define, own and improve the processes that underpin service delivery to customers.
• Ensuring services are delivered within their scope boundaries and be prepared to escalate scope breaches with clients when necessary.
• Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and develop a healthy working relationship.
