Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Leads and supports cavAsia technical operations in Singapore, overseeing projects ranging from medium to large-scale greenfield and retrofit projects primarily within the Pharma and Semiconductor industries.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

Holds full responsibility and accountability for all technical matters, including engineering, design, construction, project manpower planning, and project schedules, across multiple engineering disciplines.
Collaborates with various project teams and managers (PMs) on the following areas:
Ensures sufficient project manpower and conducts project manpower planning. Resolves technical, construction, and/or EHS issues on-site with the respective team members.
Regularly monitors project progress against the construction schedule, VO works progress, and other milestones.
Monitors project team manpower to plan and ensure project continuity during staff vacations.
Works closely with the Tender Team on project costing-related matters during bidding.
Provides technical support to the team during the tender stage.
Maintains and enhances positive relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be responsible for:
Reviewing and ensuring that PMs develop and manage detailed project schedules, work plans, and track project performance, deliverables, and costs to meet project milestones.
Providing technical advice and guidance to project teams on daily activities.
(Internal functional management, including resource planning, performance management, and career development of team members. This includes conducting employee assessments, developing succession and personal development plans, and identifying future organizational talent.
Implementing risk management strategies to minimize project risk and report/escalate to Management as necessary, with appropriate contingency resolution.
