JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Technical Manager to lead and oversee all technical aspects of MEP systems across our prestigious projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing MEP design and coordination, authority approvals, and technical delivery from pre-construction to handover. In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulations and authority processes (ADDC, ADM, Estidama, Civil Defense) is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 8 to 15 years of experience in the MEP contracting industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a technical managerial role in the Abu Dhabi,UAE.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems design, site execution, and coordination.
• Proven experience with Abu Dhabi authority procedures (ADDC, ADM, Estidama, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Proficient in engineering software tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, MS Office).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead the technical management of MEP disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) across multiple projects.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Ensure complete compliance with local authority regulations including ADDC, ADM, Civil Defense, Estidama, and others.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure timely approvals.
• Provide technical guidance to design and drafting teams, ensuring coordination between all MEP services.
• Support project management in value engineering, cost optimization, and technical risk mitigation.
• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, draftsmen, and coordinators.
• Attend technical meetings, authority inspections, and coordination sessions as needed.
• Ensure that the technical execution aligns with project specifications, contract requirements, and industry standards.
