Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Marketing Manager to join our Shanghai team, supporting the entire Asia-Pacific region (including Japan and South Korea). Tektronix offers strong growth support with professional training resources. Join our fast-paced, high-energy team! Core Responsibilities Lead APAC regional technical marketing strategy & execution for key segments (Power, Semiconductor, Automotive), refine product technical value propositions based on regional customer workflows and industry value chains. Translate technical features into market-oriented messages; develop localized technical content (whitepapers, case studies, demo scripts) for APAC (Japan & South Korea) to drive customer trust. Provide regional technical market intelligence (trends, customer needs, competition) to support early market development; lead NPI technical launch & go-to-market plans in APAC. Deliver technical training and develop sales tools to empower regional sales teams (Japan & South Korea); own APAC technical marketing KPIs and budget management. Collaborate with global & cross-functional teams (R&D, Sales) to localize global campaigns; lead virtual teams for technical marketing projects (new market development, account-based initiatives). Key Qualifications Mandatory: Engineering degree (Electrical/Electronic related); deep technical understanding of test & measurement products/applications. Minimum 8 years of high-tech technical marketing/sales experience; APAC regional experience (Japan & South Korea exposure) and knowledge of Power/Semiconductor/Automotive segments preferred. Strong ability to bridge technical and marketing; proficient in developing technical marketing content. Excellent cross-functional collaboration, project management skills; results-driven with strong KPI mindset. Effective English communication (verbal/written); Japanese/Korean proficiency is a plus. Self-motivated, pressure-resistant; willing to travel 25-30% across APAC (Japan & South Korea).
