Department: Biosciences Central Research Facility (CWB) Job Posting Details The Biosciences Central Research Facility (CWB) [BioCRF(CWB)] at the HKUST is a core facility that provides cutting edge technologies in biological research. We are currently seeking candidates with experience in one of the following core areas: Flow cytometry core High content screening core Mass spectrometry core Microscopy core Next-generation sequencing core Tissue culture core Automated biobank core Bioinformatics core In addition to providing instrument training to the University users, the candidate should preferably be skilled in automation and/or big data analysis, in order to enhance the facility's position in providing contract research services to other educational institutes and the business sector. In addition to supporting current services, the successful candidate is expected to keep pace with technological innovation and provide technical assistance in the area(s) above. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s or higher degree in biological science, bioinformatics, chemistry, computer sciences, or relevant disciplines, coupled with extensive hands-on experience in the area(s) above.
