Job Description
The Griffith School of Engineering and Built Environment (EBE) offers a broad range of engineering programs and has an active research culture which has helped foster strong links with high schools and community groups plus key industries on a local, national and global level.

Here’s how you’ll make it matter:

  • Provide hands on electronic/electrical technical operations support to the assigned work area, including set up, service and dismantling of experimental apparatus, instrumentation and materials primarily for undergraduate laboratory practical classes. Pre-run experiments when required to ensure that effective operation and results are achieved. Assist with School and University promotional activities and events.

  • Demonstrate, where necessary, the relevant techniques in operating electronic and electrical equipment and instrumentation, whilst adhering to appropriate safety procedures.
  • Support academic staff in the set up and delivery of technical projects for small groups of students, dissertation projects and small workshop classes.
  • Use various computer software including design and prototyping software, Altium, SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, email, and the Microsoft Office suite.
