We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Officer Mechanical to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team in Kalgoorlie, WA on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Operations Kalgoorlie, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, reliability and improvement of high-pressure pipeline to meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with standards, including liaising with engineers and other relevant personnel, reviewing plans/designs, and making recommendations on equipment modifications, designs, and specifications. Undertake scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on pipeline systems, Meter Pressure Reduction and Compressor Stations, and associated equipment. Analyse and interpret data to maintain equipment integrity and optimise operational performance. Optimise and monitor metering pressure reduction and compressor station equipment/system performance, identify and recommend solutions. Undertake extensive site overhauls on metering and compressor station mechanical equipment, identifying and analysing abnormal operating conditions and complex fault finding of equipment problems. Install, operate, and test new equipment and modifications in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions. Your background Extensive knowledge of training and development in the energy infrastructure industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent coordination and communication abilities. Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously Oil & Gas industry experience Proficiency in training evaluation and improvement planning.
