About the Role: An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join the ACT Pathology team as a Technical Officer. In this position, you will be responsible for the duties at the reception of the specimen collection point such as but not limited to updating and maintaining patient information, prepare specimens for analysis and respond to service enquiries. You will also be performing some simple general laboratory procedures. We are seeking a vibrant individual, who thrives working within a team environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with being adaptable and flexible to accommodate changes in response to client needs. You will have careful attention to detail and be committed to achieving positive outcomes. This position will require the applicant to work on a rotating roster, that includes out of hours shifts, to support the 24/7 operation of the laboratory. Please note this will include weekend, evening and overnight shifts. A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months.
